Robot is known as the "pearl at the top of the manufacturing crown". Its research, development, manufacturing and application have become an important symbol to measure the level of scientific and technological innovation and high-end manufacturing in a country. According to the statistics of the International Federation of Robots, in 2021, the number of industrial robots installed in the world will reach a record high of 487000. The robot industry is ushering in an important opportunity period of innovative development and accelerated upgrading.
"With the joint efforts of all sectors of industry, education, research and application, China's robot industry has reached a new level of development and has become the largest robot application market in the world." Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that industrial robots are expanding from simple operations such as carrying, loading and unloading to high-precision and highly sensitive precision machining scenes such as assembly, grinding and polishing.

In 2021, the operating revenue of the whole industry of robots in China will exceed 130 billion yuan, and the output of industrial robots will reach 366000 sets, 10 times higher than that in 2015. It will remain the largest industrial robot market in the world, with applications covering 60 industry categories and 168 industry sub categories. Among them, the density of robots in the manufacturing industry has reached 322 sets/10000 people, 13 times higher than that in 2012. The intelligent manufacturing system with industrial robots as the core has become the source of power for the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.
In the exhibition area of "Robot+Manufacturing", seven blue industrial robots from Anchuan Shougang Robot Co., Ltd. attracted the attention of many visitors. Workpiece coding, arc welding, constant force grinding, position identification, gluing, riveting... They waved the mechanical arm flexibly and completed dozens of technological processes. The screen displayed the current, voltage, coordinates, energy consumption and other parameters of each process in real time. It is understood that this set of highly efficient robots has been used in hundreds of battery box production lines in the field of new energy vehicles in China.
"It only takes 400 seconds to produce a new energy battery box from profile cutting, air tightness detection to completion of packaging." Guo Chao, the R&D engineer of the company, told the reporter that through the introduction of 3D vision, force control, AMR, 5G and other technologies, the robot can accurately perceive the production status of the workpiece, and each process is completed in one go, which also facilitates the quality tracking of each product in the later stage.
Driven by the integration of artificial intelligence, new sensors, biomimetics, new materials and other technologies, robots are increasingly penetrating into complex and precise scenes. "Smart welding" capable of responding to different types of complex workpieces such as fillet weld pieces, groove pieces, arc pieces, "patrol inspection sentinels" capable of monitoring different scenes such as train underbody, railway rails, transmission lines, etc., "beauty masters" capable of adsorbing sewage while removing rust on ship plates... A group of robot "skillful craftsmen" have constantly broken through the limit, replacing people who "take over" a large amount of repetitive work, Start to explore and complete more "seemingly impossible tasks".
